Employee Resignation 

Things to consider when an employee hands in their resignation:

  • Handover
    • Handover documents on current projects
    • Record conversation when going through their handover
  • Non-Compete
    • Do we need to enforce a non-compete
    • Reminds departing personnel of other obligations such as confidentiality, non-solicitation of customers and employees
    • Ask departing employees to share a copy of their restrictions with their new employer
  • Other
    • Can we retain them for their resignation period
